"Recognizing and Promoting the Academic Excellence and Involvement of Transfer Students"
Our most recent Leadership Conference was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Florida this past fall and we are looking forward to our next conference in Washington, D.C. on September 29 - October 1! The meeting will be held at the Hilton Washington D.C. National Mall at the Wharf. We look forward to networking and learning more about what our Tau Sigma chapters are doing across the country!
We recently awarded $100,000 in scholarships, ranging from $500 to $5,000, to 57 different members! Congratulations to those who received a scholarship! We have also surpassed the $1,000,000 mark on total scholarships awarded!
Representatives of Tau Sigma will be presenting at the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students Annual Meeting in Portland, OR in February. We look forward to meeting transfer advocates from all over the country and laying the foundation to establish some additional Tau Sigma chapters. This year’s theme is "Be a Connector for Transfer Student Success." Tau Sigma has been doing that for 20+ years and we are excited to share our story with colleges and universities that don’t yet have a chapter!
